Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan just showcased their Compact SUV iV-4 designed in Japan at FrankFurt Motor Show 2013.
The iV-4 concept measures in at 4,215mm long, 1,850mm wide and 1,655mm tall and its front is dominated by an illuminated five-slot grille and roof-mounted fog lights with built-in laser sensor. At the rear, there are blackened mouldings, chrome diffuser, angular tail-lamps and twin exhausts. On the sides, the concept sports distinct lines that lend a futuristic character to the car. However, these stylistic influences are unlikely to be carried over to the production version.
The ace designer of the new Compact SUV concept Takehito Arai talks about the concept in the Video here and there are lot of insights that we got to know from this video.
iV-4 stands for "Individuality Vehicle 4X4", the nomenclature of which is similar to SX4 - Sports - all four seasons. The Compact SUV's production version could have a contrasting colored roof as we seen in Range Rover Evoque, however we will have to wait and watch how does mass public reacts to this decision of Suzuki - as per us this should be a welcome decision.
Rest we leave to you to watch out the Video and explore further.
