Nissan India has now officially revealed the rear image of its upcoming Compact SUV. The Japanese carmaker wants to keep the craze continue for its yet to be launched Terrano. Here is the official rear view of Nissan Terrano !
As already conveyed by Nissan India's top management, the Terrano will sport many changes from the Renault's current Duster including many sheet metal changes - you can easily say the front and the rear of the Nissan's Terrano will completely differ from Renault's Duster. On side profile, Nissan's Terrano will sport sporty looking alloy wheels.
Mechanically, the car will remain the same and will be powered by 1.5L K9K Diesel mill with two variants - 85PS and 110PS. Terrano is expected to be launched by September end / October early.
The "Terrano" is currently codenamed NH79 and is under process of development at NMI's Chennai factory. Kenichiro Yomura, President and CEO of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd, said - "Terrano will play a key role in increasing sales within the Indian market. I am delighted to reveal both the name and the very first image of what will be a very important model for Nissan. You can see from the sketch that Terrano has a bold and distinctive design that I am confident will appeal to our growing customer base in India, as will its driving performance and range of other features that will be revealed at a later date."
