Mercedes Benz to launch B Class Diesel on 11th July 2013

Mercedes Benz had launched their B Class in September 2012 but only with the Petrol engine option. Mercedes Benz soon realized the need of the Diesel engine and has decided to launch the car with diesel option on 11th July 2013.

The B Class CDI would get the same 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine as seen on the A Class A180 CDI in India, and it’s likely to be called the B180 CDI. The 2.2 liter engine would be tweaked to produce power of 108PS and would deliver a fuel efficiency of 20.06 Kmpl.

Mercedes Benz B Class Diesel would be launched at price lower than the Petrol version since the car would lack the Panaromic sunroof feature, which is expected to bring down the price.
