General Motors of Brazil have started sending teasers of their upcoming Chevrolet Tracker, called Trax else where in the world. The carmaker has already started sending emails to their existing users and it states the launch on 14th July through Redo Globo television channel.. The car has already been spotted testing for about an year now.
The Brazil spec Tracker will be launched with flex fuel engine powered by 1.6L 120bhp and 1.8L 140bhp taken from Sonic and Cruze respectively. The car would be powered by 5 speed manual and 6 speed automatic gearbox.
The Tracker for Brazil will be imported from Mexico in LT and LTZ variants. The equipment list in the LTZ includes six airbags, ABS, ESP, traction control, MyLink touchscreen multimedia infotainment system and 17″ wheels.
The car is expected to be launched with price tag of around 60,000 real (appx. INR 15.9 Lac) to 75,000 real (apprx. INR 19.9 Lac)
