Powering the sportscar is a 3.4-litre flat-six engine that puts out 321bhp and 37.7kgm of torque. Power is sent to the rear-wheels via a seven-speed PDK transmission. It gets from 0-100kph in 5.38 seconds and goes on to a claimed top speed of 281kph. 19" alloy wheels are standard in Cayman S.

The interior of the car is redesigned and it comes with a 7″ touchscreen display. Optional features include Burmester audio system and dual color leather interior.
