BMW 1 series could be the third Bavarian car in the Indian market and could be launched by end of year 2013. Mr. Phillip von Sahr, president, BMW India, announced the above statement in year 2012, but seems like with the toughening competition in Indian market, the carmaker plans to launch car pretty earlier than scheduled for India.
