Hindustan Motors, a CK Birla group company and has been struggling for cash for some time now has officially declared that a new variant of Ambassador, BSIV compliant will be launched in India. The new model will be powered by 1.5L Diesel motor.
The crisis-ridden auto manufacturer has displayed the new model with BS IV diesel engine to Kolkata's taxi associations at its plant, a company statement said today.
Some HM dealers also drove the new variant to get a feel of how does it looks like and what's the difference over the previous one. According to the company, it will soon introduce the BS IV complaint model with a new name in the market.
