Volkswagen, just a while ago launched Polo GT TSI in India at Rs 7.99 Lac, ex-showroom, new Delhi. At this price ofcourse, this is the most expensive hatchback present in Indian market and ofcourse the most powerful too. It offers the combination of powerful turbo petrol engine and a technology packed 7 speed DSG dual clutch automatic gearbox.
The 1.2L 3 cylinder Gasoline engine produces 103 bhp of power similar to what the older 1.6 Liter naturally aspirated 1.6 Liter petrol engine delivered in the Volkswagen Polo 1.6. The Polo 1.2 TSI delivers an ARAI certified 17.2 Kmpl, a fuel economy figure that’s actually better than the 1.2 Liter 3 cylinder petrol motor.

The bookings amount for the Polo GT is Rs 50,000. Already available for sale at all VW showrooms in India.
