Hero MotoCorp has announced an all new edition of Splendor Pro which would be called as Gold edition, to mark 20th anniversary of Splendor. Apart from this, the company has also announced Industry's first 5 year warranty for all its products.
The Splendor motorycle was launched in 1993 under the brand name - Hero Honda. Post split, the brand name Hero MotoCorp is handling the sales of Splendor motorcycle and has been selling over 10 Lac units every year since last 4 years. Hero Splendor is also the single largest selling motorcycle in the world.
Hero Splendor Gold edition would be priced apprx. Rs 1,000 more than current variant's price of Rs 48,000. A new Gold color has been introduced for Splendor gold edition and also a new logo could be seen above the headlamp.
Hero MotoCorp has also announced that all their new vehicles will now come with an unmatched warranty of 5 years / 70,000 kms, instead of the 2 years / 30,000 kms previously offered. This makes Hero the first and only two wheeler manufacturer to offer 5 year warranty.
