Fiat, a couple of months ago unveiled their roadmap for the Indian market wherein they specifically mentioned the model details including facelift, new launches etc and during what part of the year. As per this, during the first part of year 2013, Fiat is to refresh their B segment and C segment cars which leaves us to no brainer and clearly suggests the refreshed variants of Punto and Linea is on cards.
Fiat India has recently announced the press meet on 10th April 2013 but has not mentioned any specific agenda. All they have said is "Experience the new Fiat" and have left everything on us to think about what it should be.
The press meet will be presided by Enrico Atanasio, Director of Fiat Group and Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and CEO of Fiat Chrysler India Operations. The event is scheduled in Mumbai. So, in case you were about to finalize the Punto or Linea, just hold on your breath for a while and you could get all new Punto and Linea at same price of the older versions of the car at a discount.
