BSNL, in its first of kind development in the country has launched the Wi-Fi modules to be used in cars which will enable people to use the internet while they travel.
The device which will cost approximately INR 5,000 - 6,000 will be connected using the small antennae which is already attached on roof of the cars. It was first installed in BSNL Indore unit’s General Manager, Mr. G. C. Pandey, on an experimental basis.
The technology is no doubt useful but it could also create some safety concerns as people would use it behind the wheels often and could have some accidents too.
