Big relief for Petrolheads - Price reduction of Rs 3 per liter in Petrol prices

In another, major relief for Petrolheads, effective tonight, Petrol prices will be slashed across the country by Rs 3 apprx. (depending on state to state) per liter. In Delhi, petrol prices will be reduced by Rs 3, (Inclusive of VAT).

In Chennai, Petrol will cost Rs 65.90. In Delhi petrol will cost Rs 63.09, In Kolkata petrol will cost Rs. 70.35. The biggest decrease will be seen in Hyderabad and will be a cut of Rs 3.28. All the price changes will be effective tonight.

"We have decided to cut petrol prices by Rs 3.00 including taxes," an Indian Oil executive said. The last reduction in Petrol price was  on 15 April wherein the price was reduced by Re 1 per litre.
