Suzuki SX4 unveiled at 2013 Geneva Motor Show - Promotional Video



Suzuki SX4 Crossover continue to be sold in Europe and other parts of country while only sedan version of SX4 was brought to the Indian market considering people's preference for a sedan. Now, when there is a visual shift that could be seen in the market and people's preference for Crossover - it has come through our sources, Maruti Suzuki could launch SX4 Crossover in India by end 2014, whereas the version of SX4 sedan would be launched earlier in early 2014. Moreover, another Crossover based on XA-Alpha, previewed during 2012 Auto Expo would be launched in 2015.

The new SX4 Crossover was unveiled at 2013 Geneva Motor Show and the changes included in new car have also been briefed about. The new car would be 100 mm longer than the previous car and hence will offer good comfort and space for the rear bench.

The SX4 Crossover will have two engine options, a 1.6 litre petrol based on the M16A platform and a 1.6 diesel with a variable geometry turbocharger. These two power plants will be mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic with paddle-shift 7-speed manual mode. It will be available in both 2WD and 4WD modes.

On the outside, you will see changes include plastic scuff plates, claddings and Day time running lights included to give modern feel while increased legroom, improving quality of dashboard has come on to interiors to provide more relaxing and comfortable drive to passengers.
