Ford EcoSport is reported to be launched in China on 19th March 2013. As per the latest sources, the EcoSport will be powered by two petrol engine -1.0L EcoBoost engine delivering 123 bhp with torque figure of 170 N-m. The other one will be DV5 engine with 1.5L 110 bhp and 140 N-m torque. The EcoSport will be launched with 5 speed manual transmission and 6 speed automatic gearbox.
The price as shown in images described as 94800 Yuan which amounts to 8.27 Lac and the top variant amounting to Rs 11.34 Lac. EcoSport will be launched in 7 colors and the same is expected for the Indian market as well. (View all color options here)
Also, we already briefed you that Indian version of EcoSport will be displayed on 19th March 2013 at Ford India's Chennai facility where the car maker has organized a Vendoe meet and has invited all the Indian Auto component manufacturers and on sidelines will display and detail features of EcoSport - Indian version.
