Force Motors Gurkha 4X4 SUV has been launched on Friday for an introductory price of Rs 6.25 lakh. The Indian born carmaker has launched it in 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive variant also and the 4WD variant is expected to compete with Mahindra's Thar.
The new vehicle from Force Motors is now more sporty and has attractive styling on inside and the outside and also there are changes in the engine compartment too. Force Gurkha now gets a 2.6 litre diesel engine producing 76 PS power and 185 Nm torque, mated to a five speed manual transmission. Added to this, the engine will be BSIV compliant.
The prices of the different variants are as follows -
Soft top 4x2 – Rs 6.25 Lac
Soft top 4x4 – Rs 8.35 Lac
Hard top 4x4 – Rs 8.50 Lac
