Tata Motors to invest over Rs 45,000 Crore in next two years, says Cyrus Mistry




Cyrus Mistry today sent out a letter to all employees of Tata Motors calling the change of chairmanship as "Winds of change" The major highlights of the letter read out as follows -

  • Tata Group invested INR 50,000 Crore over last 3 years
  • Created primary employment for 8,500 people
  • Need to respond swiftly, adapt to market conditions
  • Need to address small issues that are often overlooked
  • Will be relentless in pursuit of improving competitiveness
  • To carry stakeholder along in sustainable, 'Tata' way
  • Core of Tata group 'must and will' remain unchanged
  • Tata group to invest Rs 45,000 crore in 2 years
  • To expand operations in Asian, African, Latin American markets
  • India to remain attractive investment destination
  • Recent policy clarity, reforms by governemnt
