Tata Motors recently inaugurated a new look flagship showroom in Mumbai to create a superior customer experience with a human-machine interface and contemporary styling. This flagship showroom Concorde Motors now features a new and stylish look, and was inaugurated in Mumbai on 2nd January 2013. The company plans to open several such showrooms within the coming few weeks.
Spanning over an area of 4,400 sq ft, the new showroom features a lounge area, Wi-Fi connectivity, a cafĂ© and a children’s play area. The showroom also features video walls where customers can configure their cars using tablet PCs, along with a merchandise wall which includes a range of accessories and lifestyle merchandising.
The showroom was inaugurated by Ranjit Yadav, President of the Passenger Vehicle Business Unit at Tata Motors. Expressing delight over the inauguration, he said, “Customer centricity is the hallmark of Tata Motors. As desired by today's Indian motorist, the showroom offers best-in-class service in a stylish and premium format to enhance the buying experience of our brands. This new look and feel will be extended to the rest of the network as well and will herald a slew of customer centric initiatives that we will unveil over the next 12-18 months. We are committed to anticipating and providing the best vehicles and experiences that excite our customers globally.”
In December 2012, Tata's vehicle sales declined 51 percent to 14,185 units as against 28,916 units sold in December 2011. However, according to Ranjit Yadav, the newly introduced Manza Club Class and Safari Storme are doing well in their respective segments.
