Skoda plans to launch 6 new models in 2013

Skoda has teased its plans for year 2013. Since, 2+0+1+3 = 6, Skoda plans to launch 6 new models during this year. The Czech brand, as we know is a part of VW brand and as a bigger role for achieving the first position globally by 2018, the various group companies of VW brand are expanding to their capacity. Skoda too have showcased their armoury and are going to kickstart the new year with all guns blazing.

Skoda France on their facebook page has teased this image which shows the 6 new launches during the current year with the first one being Skoda Rapid in January. The next big launch from Skoda is expected in March and would be a Skoda Octavia or better we know it as Laura, here in India. In June 2013, Skoda would launch their Octavia Combi, which we guess would be a Europe exclusive model and would not come to India.

During August, October and December 2013, Skoda could launch the Superb facelift, Fabia facelift and Skoda Yeti crossover. The Superb and Fabia will receive the last refreshes before the next generation models of the cars are launched in the next 2 years. Skoda Yeti will be the last launch from the Czech carmaker to end the year with a bang.

In the Indian market, expect Superb facelift around Diwali 2013 and also Skoda Rapid and Fabia CNG variant as its parent company is planning for Vento and Polo models.
