Renault Twizy joins fleet of Domino's pizza delivery service

A Domino’s Pizza franchise in Swindon has taken delivery of a pair of Renault Twizys for use as delivery vehicles, replacing the traditionally used scooters.

James Swift, owner of Domino’s in Swindon, said: ‘We are extremely happy with our Twizys as for us they are the perfect run around for delivering our pizzas quickly, responsibly and most importantly with minimal running costs. They are quite a head turner too, so it creates a great buzz for us as we like to do things differently.’

The French carmaker's 1+1 tandem-seat electric city car with scissor doors measures less than two and a half metres in length and one and a half metres in width. In base form, it makes do with a 13kW (17hp) electric motor with a limited top speed of around 50 mph (80km/h) fed by battery giving an official range of up to 60 miles (96 kilometers).

Seeing this transition, can Domino's delivery centers in India order for Tata Nano for their fleet ?
