Jeep teases 2014 Grand Cherokee ahead of Detroit International Show

Fiat's Jeep brand unveiled its 2014 Grand Cherokee just hours ahead of Detroit International Show. The car maker teased the front headlamps and front grills thereby giving a hint of the front image of the car.

The facelifted Jeep Grand Cherokee gets a new sleeker headlamp clusters similar to those of the new Chrysler 300 and sport Rolls Royce Ghost. The headlamp shape has a kink in the lower part and it appears that its silhouette is illuminated by daytime LED lamps.

The Grand Cherokee will continue to use the same set of engines albeit in improved avatars. The 3.4 litre V6 petrol will be offered in the base version while the higher variants will get the 5.4 litre HEMI V8 and the 6.4 litre HEMI V8 SRT. Diesel option will be offered by a 3.0 litre V6 engine .
