Tata Motors has launched three more vehicles in Bangladesh after it had launched Nano. Tata Motors have already launched buses in Bangladesh in 1972. The authorised distributors for Bangladesh would be NITOL Motors. For now, these cars would only be available in the capital city of Dhaka with an exclusive showroom
On this occasion, Tata Motors Managing Director, Karl Slym said, “We are happy and honoured to enter Bangladesh with our passenger cars. Our 40-year association with Bangladesh has given us an insight into the aspiration of the country’s motorists. They will be central to our business – we will delight them with the performance of our cars and the comfort and excellence of our service, and establish ourselves as we have in commercial vehicles since 1972.”
Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, Chairman of NITOL Motors, said, “Our association with Tata Motors goes back over two decades, and we are extremely happy that, in addition to commercial vehicles, Tata Motors has now placed their confidence in us to market their passenger cars and utility vehicles. We share Tata Motors’ commitment to its customers in building a business for perpetuity.”
