Land Rover plans to launch 2013 Range Rover in India on 30 November 2013

Come 30th November 2012 and Tata owner, JLR plans to launch the 2013 Range Rover in India. The pricing and the spec details have still not been revealed but this being a CBU product, expect it to be above Rs 1 Crore for the base variant. The product will be manufactured and shipped directly from JLR's new Solihull facility in UK.

The new Range Rover (codenamed L405) is vastly improved in almost all directions. The vehicle uses a lighter D4u platform, which enables a weight saving of 400 kgs. The monocoque platform also gives the Range Rover better dynamics while at the same time the vehicle doesn’t loose its splendid off-road capabilities. The new Range Rover will be available with both petrol and diesel engines, which offer splendid performance. The interiors seems to have taken a heavy inspiration from the Evoque and have improved space and luxury by several notches.

Stay tuned for more details on the launch date.
