2014 Bugatti Veyron to come with 1600 bhp 9.6L engine - To be Fastest car




If you guys think uptil that 1,000 bhp Bugatti Veyron would be the fastest car and would be the most powerful engine - hold on your breath guys, the next generation coming in 2014, Bugatti Veyron could even be more faster as the 9.6L engine would produce 1,600 bhp. This Super Veyron will be the world’s fastest car by a comfortable margin, with a top speed of 290 mph or 467 km/hr.

“We are working on the next super-sports car. The big challenge will be reducing weight – we are looking at some incredible technologies, such as wheels made entirely from carbon fibre. We’re considering hybrids, too,” Jens Schulenburg, chief vehicle engineer, Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S, said .

Power is said to come from the massive W16 engine, which is the same one used on the current car but with an increase of capacity from 8 litres to 9.6 litres. Hybrid technology is also being considered, an electric motor may be utilized to boost the power output to 1600hp.
