Nissan Urvan Van caught testing in Chennai - Competitor to Tata Winger and Force Traveller

Nissan is gearing up to pick up its market share in the Indian market not just in the Passenger vehicles but also in other segments too. Nissan Motors "Urvan" Van was spotted testing on Chennai roads with a Tamil Nadu number plate and with "On Test" sticket on the front glass.

Urvan Van might be a competitor to Tata Winger and even Foce Traveller as this seems to be used for Commercial vehicle rather than to be used as a personal vehicle.

This vehicle can be used as a cargo carrier as well as a micro-bus with seating capacity of up to 14 people, depending upon the seating configuration. In Philippines, this Urvan is powered by a 3.0-Litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 105 HP of power and 209 Nm of torque.

Looking at the size of this vehicle, one can be sure of this being not equipped with a K9K 1.5L motor as this size of vehicle would require rather two K9K engine those being installed in Renault Duster or Nissan Sunny.

However, before speaking more on features and specifications of this vehicle, let us wait for more information officially to come from Nissan Motors. Stay tuned while we update the same to you too.
