Honda Cars India launches new Automatic Brio starting at Rs 5.74 Lac

Honda Cars India has taken a step into the small automatic hatchback game with its Brio AT, which starts its pricing at Rs 5.74 lakh, and in the same breath, launched a new manual gearbox'd variant as well.

The Brio Automatic is available in two variants, S(O) and V. The S(O) variant is priced at INR 5.74 lakhs while the V variant is priced at INR 5.99 lakhs, both prices reflecting ex-showroom Delhi figures. The Brio automatic is powered by its 88PS 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine from the manual variant and will compete with Maruti Suzuki A-Star and Hyundai i10, as these are the only Automatic competitors available in the small hatchback market.

Honda Cars India has also launched a brand new entry level variant in the Brio hatchback line up, in the form of the EX-MT variant. The EX variant, sits above the lowest E variant in the Brio line up as a slightly better equipped version. The EX variant of the Brio comes with a few new features, four to be precise at a modest price increase of INR 20,ooo over the E variant. The EX variant of the Brio sells for INR 4.26 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. The four new features are -

  • Body colored Outside door handles
