Ford India to launch EcoSport Automatic version too - Clearest ever Images revealed




Ford Motors will be launching EcoSport with an automatic gearbox too in India. The highly awaited so called Compact SUV from Ford which eye stuck almost every visitor at Auto Expo 2012 will be launched early 2013. There have been several news about Ford launching this with a Petrol as well as a Diesel variant in India with Petrol motor being a 1.0L Ecoboost engine which is expected to produce 123 bhp and apprx 20 Kmpl of mileage. Ford EcoSport Diesel however will be powered by DV5 engine which is a 1.5L Diesel engine current powering the new Ford Fiesta.

It was also rumoured that Ford might launch EcoSport with an additional Automatic gearbox version in India, the rumour has become News for those waiting for this monster from American based auto maker. Yes, the EcoSport will be launched with an automatic gearbox too in India. Here are the clearest ever images of Ford EcoSport which shows Ford is almost ready with it and is on final stages of testing.

The Car maker claims that the Internationally acclaimed and award winning 1.0L gasoline engine will be very silent - view video here for details.  The Ford EcoSport was also spied testing in America and has already been launched in Brazil. The SUV has received great response in Brazil and is expected to receive even much more bigger response from Indian customers where this segment - Compact SUV is hot at this time and starting from Renault Duster to Maruti Suzuki Ertiga - every things is selling at a great pace.

Ford EcoSport fans have already been waiting for this vehicle long - but as per us, the wait would be worth it, we just have to wait 'n' watch Ford plays its cards right on its pricing strategy - which is going to be the key to its success.
