Chevrolet India will be launching the new spark facelift just a couple of hours from now. The new car was already unveiled on the web, and the company has already started accepting the bookings of the new car. The car has been restyled with visual changes both on outside of the car and inside of the car to make it more appealing than the new Maruti Suzuki Alto, its immediate competitor.
The Chevrolet Spark facelift is seen sporting a new front fascia with a new and wider grille that , revised headlamps, new fog lamps and a new front bumper. Rear too gets a revised boot lid, new tail lamp motif and a revised rear bumper. The Spark also gets revamped interiors with new seat upholstery and door pads. The updated car also sports a new instrument cluster which seems to be a desperate attempt to look new age.
The Spark is powered by a 1 Liter-4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 63 Bhp-90 Nm. This engine delivers an ARAI certified fuel economy of 18 Kmpl, which is much lesser than both the Maruti Alto 800 as well as the Hyundai Eon, which both deliver over 22 Kmpl. However, the spark boasts itself for a much powerful engine as compared to both its rivals - Alto and Eon.
the Chevrolet Spark gets new interiors with a twin tone finish. Chrome arrives onto the dashboard of the car while the seat upholstery gets a once over.
