Seems like Honda is working on both the above mentioned issues, while Honda's iDtec engine is under progress and will be rolled out first in Honda City sedan in April 2013, Honda has also confirmed that the Japanese car maker is also working on rolling out new models for the Indian market which will be developed and produced in the Indian market however could also be exported to other countries including Thailand and others from India.
In the latest conversations with Honda Motors India CEO Takanobu San, the company is working on Brio based sedan and will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Toyota Etios and Mahindra's Compact Verito. As per the company, Honda will again utilize its caliber for reliability of Honda along with top notch quality interiors coupled with a competitive price tag for launching their products at par with Dzire and Etios.
