Mahindra will launch the Quanto on 20th September 2012. The car is built on the proven Ingenio platform that it shares with the popular Xylo MUV. The Quanto when viewed from a distance may look like the Xylo but once you get closer to it the compact dimensions and rear spare wheel clearly differentiates form its elder brother. The SUV will be prices within a price bracket of Rs 5.5 - 7.5 Lac, due to sub 4 meter car and due to 1.5 L engine which are enough to fall under the category of government to get excise duty benefits.
Top end variants will gets ABS, two airbags, 6-spoke alloy wheels, steering-mounted audio controls, bluetooth compatibility, height-adjustable driver’s seat, reverse parking assist, adjustable lumbar support and center armrest for driver & front passenger.
Many hatchback and sedan buyers would love the high riding position of an SUV and the two extra seats at the back. So, if you are planning to buy a hatchback, we would suggest you to wait for its pricing, Stay tuned for the same on 20th September 2012.
