2012 Toyota Etios sedan gets Beige interiors - Images

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched two fantastic products for Indian market at a pretty competitive price - the vehicles Etios sedan and Liva hatchback. The cars were doing pretty good in the market majorly due to reliability and low maintenance factors of Toyota brand. However, it still kept the customers at bay mainly due to the not so appealing interiors of the two cars.

The car maker has now decided to give the interiors a fresh look and give them a new and refreshing beige interiors - something what we Indians really like in India. The car maker tried to explain it to Indians that it is difficult to maintain the beige interiors especially looking at the weather and atmosphere conditions here in India, however the Japanese car maker had to succumb to the likes of ultimate decision maker - The Customer.

The Toyota Etios will still be available in both petrol and diesel engined variants. The petrol engine is a 1.5 Liter, 90 Bhp unit that is quite peppy due to the light weight of the Etios. The turbo diesel engine is a 1.4 Liter D-4D unit putting out 70 Bhp-170 Nm. There are just minor changes in the color of dashboard (though plastic remains the same), the fabric color and the color of door trim.
