Joining its rivals Hero MotoCorp and Mahindra Two Wheelers, who also have a Bollywood celebrity as their brand ambassador promoting their scooters, TVS Motor says the appointment of the actress is aimed to strengthening its brand commitment towards the youth.

India 's largest two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has Priyanka Chopra as their brand ambassador and Kareena Kapoor endorses for Mahindra Two Wheelers.
Anushka's association with TVS dates back to 2005 when she had done a campaign for the brand.
"It's almost like 'homecoming' for me. As a young woman I know how important independence and mobility is to me. TVS Scooty has always understood young women of India and it feels great that I now have an opportunity to be a part of the rich legacy of a brand such as TVS Scooty,"" Anushka said.
The company had roped in emerging cricket star Virat Kohli as their brand ambassador for TVS Sport motorcycles in 2011.
