Audi to present Q2 concept at the Paris Auto Salon

Audi will come up with the ‘smaller than Q3’ crossover concept at the Paris Auto Salon this September. Speculated to be named as Q2, who so ever named so, we are sure would not have been a difficult one to guess especially after the launch of Q7,Q5 and recent Q3. Audi Q3 is also claimed to have received 500 bookings in just 5 days.

The upcoming Q2 will be derived from the A1. This means that Q2 will be a direct relative of the Volkswagen Polo on which the A1 is based on. It is being said that a lot of styling cues will come from the Quattro concept car and the Q2 should be positioned slightly above the A1. It may be noted that localising the Q2 for production on India should not be a very big task as parent manufacturer Volkswagen already manufactures the Polo at its Chakan plant near Pune. If Audi India feels that Q3 is for the ‘young’, the manufacturer will all probability target the same audience with the Q2.

So, what do you feel does it makes sense to bring Audi to India for young buyers ?
