Maruti Suzuki to launch new SX4 facelift, code named YL1 for India in 2014




Maruti Suzuki is working upon the new facelifted SX4 for the Indian market, which is scheduled to hit the roads in 2014. The car code named YL1 is currently under development at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant.

The new car is expected to boast of the Updated front fascia which will include a changed front grill and tweaks in the exterior styling of the car. The car from inside will have changes in its dashboard and will add some additional Updated features to compete with the current competitors in the Indian market.

On the rear side, you could easily view the Kizashi like looks with a strong curve lined above the boot unlike the slopy curve in current generation SX4.

Our sources have also told that the top end variant is also expected to be equipped with a Standard Navigation system. More details to be revealed and will be shared soon. Stay tuned for the updates.

However, the new facelift will have the similar 1.3L TDI engine and will deliver similar power and output as in the current models. The car maker has given no indication of the pricing however the car maker is expected to make no changes in the prices.
