Indian market has seen a slight slowdown as compared to the double digit growth seen in months of January-March 2012. The growth has slowed in April 2012, with the largest car maker Maruti making a modest growth of 3%, only because of the new launch Ertiga, which sold 5464 cars in April 2012. If ertiga would not have been launched in April 2012, Maruti would have seen a slump in its sales as compared to April 2011.
