Mercedes Benz to double the Capacity of its Chakan Plant by 2013, takes it to 20,000

Mercedes Benz India has declared it officially that the car maker will double its capacity for the Indian market by 2013. The car maker has said the total installed capacity by then would be 20,000 vehicles. Mercedes Benz said with the launch of A Class and B Class lined up for Indian journey, the volumes are set to roar in India, the additional capacity is a must.

The statement by the car maker, strengthens the believe that the Indian Automobile Industry especially the Luxury car maker will take to its new highs soon. Get ready for more Luxury cars on the roads.
