Honda launches New CBR 250R - Pearl Heron Blue Tri-Colour, Images inside

Honda has been in the news since last few days for launching a  new variant of Honda CBR 250R for the Indian market. The bike has finally been launched by the Japan based sports bike maker.

The new bike apart from the addition of a new tri-colour shade, the Pearl Heron, has got no mechanical changes or power increment. The 250cc engine develops 25.3PS of power and torque of 22.9Nm. The earlier colour options, Asteroid Black Metallic and Candy Ruby Red are still available.

The 2012 CBR250R Standard is available at a price of Rs 1.44 lakh while its C-ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh. The new paint scheme commands a Rs 1000 premium. Honda will be trickling the bikes into their dealerships early next month.

"With global styling, advanced technology and high performance at very affordable price, CBR 250R has become the favorite of biking enthusiasts across India.

"We have enhanced the aesthetic appeal of CBR 250R and introduced the new pearl heron blue tri-colour to cater to expectations of young Indians," HMSI Vice President (Sales, Marketing and Corporate Affairs) NK Rattan said in a statement.

The new CBR 250R will be available at all Honda Exclusive Authorized Dealerships starting early March, 2012.
