Breaking - Skoda bringing back Octavia, to replace Laura in 2013, might be unveiled at Geneva Motors Show

Now, this is something even we could not believe. Our editor calls us from Skoda's manufacturing plant in Chakan and says they had discussion with some senior officials of Skoda India and reveals the car maker has plans to re launch their Octavia in 2013 for the Indian market and will replace the existing Laura. Hearing this news, we could not even believe it and reconfirmed it twice and then again thrice, but yes its true. The car maker has serious plans to do so for the Indian market.

Skoda will be using the Volkswagen's MQB platform for the all new Skoda Octavia codenamed A7 which is expected to be displayed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. There might be minor tweaks and twists in the new car and hence we expect this one to be more modern and equipped with latest technologies for the young generation.

Stay tuned for more details on the car.
