Bajaj Unveils Next Generation 23.5 BHP New Pulsar 200 NS with triple Spark technology - Live launch Images

Bajaj Auto Limited has finally unveiled the Pulsar 200 NS. The Pulsar has received a rash of upgrades even as the basic design remained true to the muscular design that made the Pulsar so popular in the first place. The prices of the bike will be unveiled in coming few months though we expect the Pulsar 200 NS to be priced below Rs 1 lakh.

The 2012 Pulsar uses a 200cc liquid cooled engine, that was closely developed with the Duke 200′s engine. The 200cc engine will produce a peak power of 23.5 PS at 9500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. All new alloy wheels and monoshock suspension are also part of new Pulsar 200 NS. The engine will use four valves per cylinder and come with not one, not two but three spark plugs, perhaps making it the first single cylinder motorcycle in the world to feature tri-spark plug technology.

The 2012 Pulsar gets conventional double downtube front end suspension while the rear gets a gas charged monoshock unit.  Bajaj also claims a phenomenal mileage of 58 Kmpl at a constant 55 Kmph, which is quite remarkable for an engine that is such a high state of tune. Bajaj claims a top speed of 136 kph with a 0-60kph in 3.61sec and 0-100 kph in 9.83 seconds.
