Tata Motors showcases new 2012 Tata Nano with advanced features at same price

Tata Motors recently showcased its upgraded version of entry level car, Tata Nano.

Launched in the Indian market in March 2009, last two years have been a roller-coaster ride for the Tata Nano model. After achieving a peak of 9,000 units in the month of July 2010, the sales of this car fell sharply to 509 units in November, raising concerns of Tata Motors. The shocking sales figures of November 2010 were a result of Nano’s crippled safety image due to a series of fire incidents (at least half a dozen) in Tata Nano models in different cities of the country. The car now comes with some additional features appended below

  • Special Safety featured kit – to be installed free of cost for all Nano Customers
  • Increasing Warranty to 60,000 km or 4 years from earlier 30,000 km or 2 years
  • Fast track loan on zero down payment
  • Same Price as the older version of Nano.
