Rolls-Royce returns to the city of Nizams, opens new showroom in Hyderabad




From Goodwood in the UK to Hyderabad. Rolls Royce Motor Cars, the marquee super luxury British automotive, comes back to one of its favourite hunting ground in India — Hyderabad, once the land of Nizams.

The company is looking to expand its sales network in India by appointing two more dealers in the country - one will come up in the north and the other either in central or south India - before the end of this fiscal year, taking the total number of company showrooms to five. In the Asia-Pacific region, the company has 10 dealerships in China and two in Japan.

The company has outlets at Mumbai and Delhi. Since 2005 as many as 200 Rolls Royce have been sold in India and the country stands third in Asia Pacific region as far as Rolls Royce sales are concerned, he added.

Replying to a query on the Hyderabad market, Hasenoehrl said as per reports the Nizam of Hyderabad had purchased as many as 50 Rolls in his life time
