Honda announces global recall of 304,000 vehicles for air-bag problems

Honda Motors is globally recalling 304,000 vehicles for the faulty airbag issue which may inflate with too much pressure inside at the time of a crash causing other metal and plastic parts to fly across and cause injuries and deaths.

Honda says till now there have been 20 accidents and even 2 deaths due to the fault in USA. The recalled vehicles include Accord, Civic, Odyssey, Pilot, CR-V and other models.

The recall spans 273,000 vehicles in the U.S., some 27,000 in Canada, nearly 2,000 vehicles in Japan and another 2,000 in other countries.

The car maker recalled the vehicles for the same reason in 2008, then again in 2009, once again in 2010 and finally about 304,000 vehicles making to a total of 2 million vehicle recall due to the same reason.
