BMW released a mysterious teaser video of an X6, which is expected to be a super diesel version allegedly called the X6 M50d. It get the same tri-turbo diesel engine that will also power the 5-Series M550d super diesel. BMW’s high-power diesel engines offer a good compromise between performance and excellent fuel economy.
In the video below the headlights and taillights are blurred out. This suggests an upgrade of the lights with new LED lights, like the X6 facelift.
The M550d will be offered not only in F10 sedan, but also in F11 estate configurations, and should debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. After that, the engine will be dropped into the X5 and X6 and probably even the X5 M sporty compact SUV we’ve been waiting to see for so long.
The video embedded below is just step one, more videos will follow over the upcoming days.
