Mahindra & Mahindra's automotive CEO Rajesh Jejurikar resigns

Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian automotive major who is slowly and slowly topping up the ladder has got a shock and surprise in the entire automotive vertical when CEO of its automotive division, Mr. Rajesh Jejurikar on Wednesday resigned. He will now be serving a notice period and will be on board till January 2012.

The news comes as a shock to whole Mahindra group and the automotive industry as well as the Automotive major is now speculated to be joining non-auto group. The similar situation happened when Mr. Rajesh left Marico and joined Mahindra. In Marico, he was the part of the core team which had built Parachute and Saffola brands.

The company has recently launched XUV500 which has gone to a be a success in Indian and African markets. The company has plans to launch this vehicle in other markets too.
