Aerodynamic Testing of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 [VIDEO]

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Video is out now for you to check it out. The Video reveals how Chevrolet Engineers have spent more than 100 hours in the wind tunnel to improve downforce, handling and ultimately track times for the Camaro ZL.

The new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro will come packed with 580 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 556-lb-ft of torque at 4200 rpm. In other words, it is well above the Ford’s Shelby GT500 which has 550 horsepower and 510-lb-ft of torque.

Normal cars are built with a bit of lift at speed to increase fuel economy. The Camaro LS is proof of that, returning 30 mpg on the highway in part thanks to 200 pounds of lift at 150 mph. The ZL1, on the other hand, generates 65 pounds of downforce. However, the price of the car is yet not talked about.
