VW plans to bring SEAT brand to India, Seat Ibiza seen testing in India

VW India plans to widen its horizon in terms of number of brands available and proportionately number of cars and hence widening the Overall Customer base in India. VW India after introducing Audi and then Skoda brands in India, now plans to introduce Seat brands in India.

Seat Ibiza which is a 1.2 Liter engine hatchback was spotted testing on Pune roads in India. A bright red Seat Ibiza with German plates was at ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India). Both the cars, polo & Ibiza as per VW are based on PQ25 platform.
