Striking workers of SPIL, Suzuki Motorcycle vacate plant, strike still on

The workers at Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited and Suzuki Powertrain India Limited have now vacated the plant but the strike is still on by workers sitting and protesting outside the plant. Maruti Suzuki India at last had to  take help of Special police force of Gurgaon and Manesar to vacate the plant.

There were as many as 1,000 Police persons involved however, not even a single worker was beaten. It is reported that as soon as the police officials came, they just asked the workers to vacate the plant which was also the instructions of the High Court that it is illegal to be inside the plant and damage the property of Maruti plant. It has also been reported that few robots were damaged inside the plant by the agitated workers.

However, the workers are still protesting by sitting outside the plant and the talks to resolve the issue would start again from Monday, 17 October 2011. We hope that the issue resolves as early as possible and the Manesar belt which is said to Automotive Hub of North which houses many Automobile Industries in India maintain its popularity.
