Nissan Motors India plans to export Sunny to Africa, West Asia from next year

Nissan Motors is planning to start export its recently launched Sunny sedan in India to other Asian countries and also to Africa.

Nissan launched Sunny in India with much aplomb last week. Sunny is Nissan's second locally made vehicle after Micra, which was launched last October. The base model of Sunny, the XE, is priced at 5.78 lakh while the mid-range one, the XL, at 6.69 lakh and top-end XV 7.68 lakh.

Meanwhile, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) today said it clocked a 73 per cent jump in sales to 2,176 units in September this year, buoyed by the success of its Micra compact car.

In the same month last year, the company had sold 1,256 units, NMIPL said in a statement.
