India's second Formula 1 track to come up in Mumbai - We might expect 2013 F1 Indian GP at Mumbai's Circuit

The Formula 1 Motorsport is getting crazier day by day passing. Indian hearts are beating for the first ever grand event in India scheduled this Sunday, 30th October 2011 at Jaypee Sports International (JPSI) situated near Buddh Nagar, Greater Noida - hence the name of the track - Buddh International Circuit.

With even the Mumbaikars coming to the Capital this time to see the Live event and feeling a little down that being in the Financial Capital of India, have to travel to New Delhi for the event. But Mumbaikars need to know that Capita Symonds, Populous and Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System Ltd said they had won a contract "to prepare the master plan and business case for a new multipurpose race circuit and regeneration project" in the city.

Capita Symonds said the consortium, appointed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd, would initially identify a potential location for a new circuit in India's financial and entertainment capital. Based on that the Business plan and other factors would be considered but Capital Symonds assured that like  Buddh Circuit, this circuit would also be built to the highest standards of Global Grand Prix standards.
