Honda to halt bookings of New Jazz due to shortage of supply from Thailand

Honda Siel Cars India has announced to stop the bookings of its Honda Jazz due to shortage of supply of cars from Thailand due to the floods there. There are many other companies including Toyota and Nissan who have suffered the production loss but they have not stopped the bookings of any off their model.

An official from HSCI said, “The demand for Jazz has taken us by surprise. The initial production target for Jazz was much less. But now the dealers can’t take more bookings as they have lesser number of cars allocated to them and it becomes irritating for the customers to wait as long as six months for a car.”

The Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing of Honda Siel Cars India Mr. Jnaneswar Sen stated, “We have stopped taking the bookings for our hatchback model Jazz due to supply shortage. The situation is likely to improve by the end of November or early December.”
