Suzuki Swift Sport - showcased at Frankfurt Motor show

At the second day of the ongoing 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, Suzuki Motors pleased their fans by unveiling the highly awaited Swift Sport hatchback. Powered by the all new 1.6L M16A turbocharged petrol engine that generates a maximum of 134 bhp and 118 lb-ft torque, new Suzuki Swift Sport is capable of a top speed of 200 kmph.

Suzuki claims that the new Swift Sport is quite economical as it returns a mileage of almost 16 kmpl. The engine is mated with a 6 speed manual gearbox. According to Suzuki, new Swift Sport is manufactured for, "essential sportiness with a high-quality look and feel.

Suzuki will start selling the Swift Sport in Europe from October. The sporty avatar is distinguished by a new bumper at the front, new side skirts and a roof-mounted spoiler. A sport-tuned suspension, dual exhaust system, HID headlamps and 17 inch aluminium wheels other differences. Step inside and you are greeted by the sports seats, new instrument cluster and sporty pedals.
